Last night we had so much fun trying out something new!
Chocolate Covered Strawberries!
My cousin called me up last week saying she needed help with a project and that I would be sampling as well! I absolutely love food and most sweets, so I was gamed!
Full disclosure: I am not a fan of milk or dark chocolate! So all those time of the month cravings I hear most women speak of, I’ve been blessed to not be apart of that! 🙌🏾🤣
So how did we do it!
1. Thoroughly wash your strawberries! My cousin is allergic to the fuzz on strawberries so we really washed them!
2. Dry them off and put a “toothpick” in them.
3. Warm your candy melts in the microwave (it was a complete fail for use because the microwave kept sparking) or on the stove top (our best option!) We used red, white chocolate, and chocolate. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES use red dye or food coloring lol you will die! It really tasted like poison! So, I would suggest, red candy melts. They taste just like the white chocolate ones.
4. Holding the strawberry by the toothpick, rotate in the chocolate until thoroughly covered! Place on parchment paper to decorate and dry. Eventually you can pop in the refrigerator to harden.
Oh, and if you’re wondering where Alina was lol she sat on the counter and ate regular strawberries and Chick Fil A in her chair!
Now, for the pretty pictures!
This was definitely fun to do this Valentine’s Day! Or even a baby shower or whatever!
Keep On Blossoming, Mum!
